So naturally, a new launch from the brand is one we’re always willing to deviate from our trusted daily go-tos to give a whirl. The latest offering, Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara, has been causing quite the stir online seeing consumers, bloggers and journalists all weighing in.
With an RRP of just £10.99, it promises to combine the effects of both a mascara and an eyelash curler in one, resulting in all day clump-free hold. But does it deliver?
Well, it’s won over Good Housekeeping’s Beauty Director Eve Cameron, a highly sought after stamp of approval.

Adhesion polymer, PVP, is the component the formula borrows from hairspray, used to aid binding, film forming and fixing the curl in place all day. The high tech memory curl formula also boasts a first-to-market lightweight, wax-free base, all delivered on the new Curl ‘n’ Bounce brush. A combination which the brand says guarantees no clumping, dropping, flaking or smudging.

And it seems Eve agrees; “What makes a great mascara? Lift, curl, volume…all of these and of course no smudging, clumping or flaking. I’ve found that Maybelline Colossal Curl Bounce Mascara, £10.99, ticks all the boxes (this coming hot on the heels of the wonderful bendy-brushed Sky High Mascara that they launched last year).”
